Almost there!

7F -- Students went over the student handbook and learned the rules of the school.  They can revisit a copy of the handbook at the ljhs website (here).

8F -- Students familiarized themselves with the textbook through a scavenger hunt type game.  They seem to already have a good understanding of how the textbook can work to their benefit throughout the year.

7FSL -- It was a pleasure to finally get to meet you all :) Today we spent most of our time ironing out technical issues with our netbooks, and playing some French games to familiarize ourselves with vocabulary.  We will covered the Course Outline, and I encourage students to share this with their parents.  Students will be using Google Classroom to submit assignments, and this can also be used to catch up on missed work.

8FSL -- After getting everyone settled into Google Classroom (well almost everyone) students were allowed to play some French games to introduce them to animal vocabulary.  We went over the Course Outline, as well as getting to know our class pets, Pedro, the Bearded Dragon and the fish and frogs in our aquarium.

We're still getting into the swing of things regarding textbooks and school rules, but I look forward to our future French classes!
