For the first time in 10 years, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Venus and Mercury will be in line in the early morning sky. Starting January 28th, the moon will help guide you to each of the planets, if you're new to astronomy. You'll have to wake up early to take it all in though, as they will be best seen before sunrise. This website has more details about this neat little party in the sky!
We will begin studying for midterms, so you should make your best effort to be prepared for class. Notes, pencil, flash cards and textbook should be brought with you to EVERY class so we do not have to waste time.
8D -- Please return permission slips before the 7th as we will be leaving on the 8th. If you do not have your permission forms, you will be staying in the library.
